i finally have most of the resources i need to actually get this started and have figured out the techniques which should give me consistent results. i've acquired upscaled rips of the japanese dvd release, rips of the swedish dvd release, as well as a release which already has many languages synced to the japanese dvds but where some rather nasty upscaling has been done to the video. by combining these three sources, as well as a few other sources for the swedish audio where i'm missing the dvd rips, i hope to create a release of this show which makes it accessible to the most people. down the road, i do plan on creating swedish subtitles as well, but that will likely wait until after the audio project is finished.

trouble in moominvalley, everyone. it's been brought to my attention that the video source i'm using is not from the official blu-ray release but an upscale of the dvd release. i know that i can trust this information because it was provided directly by the person who did the upscale. i'll keep looking for dvd and blu-ray sources, and use what dvd video i have where possible.

at this point, episodes 1-4 are finished. i plan on completing at least one episode per day going forward. you can find the completed episodes here for now. they'll be moved into the jellyfin compatible file structure once i run out of available episodes to complete

i am still missing audio for a number of episodes. i'm missing dvd audio for episodes 30, 49, 51, 53, 55, 57-59, and 63 and missing swedish audio entirely for episodes 64, 66, 67, 69, 70, 71, 72, 75, 76, 77, and 78. if you have a lead on a blu-ray remux, iso, or bdmv for the japanese blu-ray release or any of the swedish audio i'm missing, please get in touch.
