home-making page added
i decided to add a page specifically about home-making, since i had stuff which didn't fit in with recipes. it's only one thing at the moment but i'm reasonably certain it will expand in the future!

there is now a calibre server! simply click the link in the menu. if you want your own account for saving progress, contact me! otherwise, log in using the guest account. the username is "guest". so is the password.

time for some changes under the hood!
you shouldn't notice much of a difference, but this news section is now handled by a markdown file, read by parsedown!. it doesnt change much about how the site operates but it makes it easier to write simple texts like this. i'll probably use it for a recipe page further down the line.

in other site news, im also thinking about changing to a vertical menu. it would just make sense, given that i'd be able to add more entries over time. it's getting really cramped up there.

so,
i've finally acquired more storage space and am currently working on consolidating all of my movies, shows, and music on one drive. part of the goal with that work is to make it easier to navigate the files on the website. this also includes moving the server as well as the jellyfin server to a faster machine. i've moved the website over to this faster machine and by my testing everything should work. if u find anything that doesn't, please let me know asap. most of you already have a way of contacting me, but i've thrown together a contact form
